Increase in output, zero mention of outcomes. Why have we lost so many braincells in this AI hype? Is Tobi fixing bugs or shipping things his army of teams doesn't care about or can't do?

We are clearly in a time where critical thinking becomes rarer and rarer, while "absolute truths" (usually fabricated by GenAI) are increasingly common.

When CEOs say do this or do that, always check the stock price first. Over the last 5 years, Shopify is down 10.74%. Over the same period, the NASDAQ is up 65,19%. Should you listen to Tobias and start coding as CEO? Capitalism says: hell no.

Tobi answered this on X as well. You should check the price from the beginning :)

Every company IPOs at an artificially low price, so there's a price rise afterwards. It's common practice since the early 2000s. That's why we don't compare to the start of the public trading, but the largest window available, which is often 5 years.
